How do I see why a transaction declined in Paya Exchange?
Resolution
All transactions processed in Paya Exchange return either an approval/authorization code or a decline code. In most cases, you can reference the code against the TSYS Error Codes to determine a cause of the decline; please keep in mind, however, that some decline codes are intrinsically and/or intentionally vague.
Locate the declined transaction using the search options in the Virtual Terminal Mini app (Quick Links) ‘Quick Search’. Upon finding it, press the ‘View’ option:
