What is the Mailing List Option (Donate Now)?

If you choose to enable the mailing list option, it will add a field on your custom donation form for donors to select if they would like to be added to your mailing list. If you plan on communicating with your donors, this is a good way to get them added to your list.

The Donation Summary for the donors' transactions will specify whether they opted for your mailing list. 

The Donation Summary is available in two ways:

1. If you have enabled the Donation Summary Email from the Configuration screen, it will be emailed to you after each transaction.
2. Alternatively, the Donation Summary is available by viewing the transaction detail in the Virtual Terminal and selecting "View Invoice", which is found towards the bottom of the page.

You can also generate CSV Donation Summary reports by going to Reporting > Settled Batches and selecting the "Donate Now Credit Card w/Supplemental Data" export option.
