    Recurring Transactions Failure Notification

    Update 9/21/2022

    We've recently received reports and identified a continued incident with Recurring Billing Schedules that were not performed on 9/17/2022. As of 9/20/2022, Paya has resolved this issue after ensuring all authorization statuses have restarted the tasks to process all scheduled payments. 

    We urge all merchants to review their transaction history for these dates. If there were any manually processed transactions, please confirm the settlement statuses before submitting a credit to the cardholder. 

    Recurring Transactions Failures - 9/15/2022

    Paya identified merchants with recurring billing schedules set to process on the morning of 9/15 and they did not process/settle successfully. Paya has quickly resolved the issue and all affected merchants with recurring billing schedules set for 9/15 were resubmitted and successfully settled today (the same day as 9/15).

    For merchants who manually reprocessed these transactions, we urge you to void these transactions from the current batch before settlement. For duplicates already settled, all merchants should process and settle a credit (refund) to the cardholder for complete resolution.

    Q4 Quarterly Maintenance

    As a reminder, Paya will be performing system maintenance on Sunday, October 14th between 3:00 AM - 6:00 PM PT Systems and processing may experience a brief loss of connection during this time.
