Can the Virtual Terminal process international cards?

The Virtual Terminal is capable of processing any card with the Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express (if enabled) logos.

From a risk perspective, please be aware that international sales are high-risk in nature, and typically more likely to be fraudulent. In the case of a chargeback, there is little recourse available. Furthermore, most international banks do not support AVS (address verification), which means you will not be able to confirm the billing address that is provided. For these reasons, we suggest being comfortable with the sale and/or customer prior to processing an international card.
