Notification of Recurring Customer's Credit Card Expiration

    Description

Will I be notified if a recurring customer's credit card is about to expire?

    Resolution

The Paya Virtual Terminal allows one to set up recurring customers that are charged automatically on a regular schedule. There is an option to receive an email notification if one of these recurring customers has a credit card that is about to expire.

To find this setting, log in to the Virtual Terminal and choose the Configuration --> Email Notifications --> General Email Settings menu option. There is a section labeled "Credit Card Expiration Notification Settings":

If this option is enabled, a notification will be sent two months prior to the credit card's expiration date.

Please note: These notifications are for customers who have been set up as recurring transactions in the Virtual Terminal and have an "Active" status.

If you have questions or require additional information, please submit a ticket and we will be in touch with you shortly.
