    How can I update the email address used for unlocking the Virtual Terminal and retrieving my password?

    Resolution

    Virtual Terminal users can request a temporary password by email in the event of a security lockout or forgotten password. The password will be sent to the email address that is associated with that user. This guide shows you how to check or update this address; for assistance retrieving your password, please reference How do I unlock my Virtual Terminal and obtain a new password?.

    After signing in to the Virtual Terminal, navigate to the Configuration menu and select Users:

     

    Press Edit next to the user you wish to update:

    The email address on this page is the one that would be used to retrieve the password:

    If desired, replace the address and press Update User to save your changes.
