    How to view a trace log in Sage Exchange Desktop

    Description

    Sage Exchange is not installing. Is there a trace log I can pull?


    Resolution

    Turning on the trace log is a good way to determine what is causing problems with Sage Exchange Desktop (installation or other). To view the Sage Exchange Desktop trace log, please follow these instructions:

    1. From the bottom right of your computer desktop, right-click on the Sage Exchange Desktop icon. Highlight the Tracing option, then highlight the 'On' option if needed. 
    2. When the trace log option is turned on, you can then click the View Log option to view the trace log. The trace log will open in a Notepad file.
