Sage 50 tells me that my Merchant ID and Key are invalid. What should I do?

If you are having difficulties saving your Merchant ID and Merchant Key (MKEY) in Sage 50, please begin by reviewing Setting up Sage 50 for credit card processing to verify the correct procedure is being followed. For example, a common source of error is the MKEY, which is case-sensitive and always alternates between letters and numbers.
If Sage 50 continues telling you your information is invalid, please remove your MID and MKEY entirely and press 'Save' with nothing entered. After saving, re-enter your credentials. If copying and pasting from an email or document, please type the information in manually. Press 'Save' when complete.
