    I just received my replacement equipment. What should I do with the broken device?

    I have received a replacement terminal to replace defective equipment. What should I do with the defective device?


    If your replacement device includes a letter with instructions in the replacement package, please follow those instructions.

    In swap situations, a return shipping label will be included in the package and you should put the malfunctioning equipment into the box, place the label on the outside and give it to UPS. It is very important to return the defective unit right away to avoid any additional fees.

    In situations where the terminal is no longer compatible (i.e., non-EMV terminals), you should dispose of the device in the best way possible. You can find a helpful list of e-cycling providers here.
