Are there any ways to find out what financial institution issued my customer’s credit card?
Resolution:
The first six digits of a credit card are referred to as the Bank Identification Number. This is the number that uniquely identifies the Financial Institution that issued a particular card to the cardholder.
There are several free online tools that anyone can use to pair any given BIN to the issuer. Here are a few of these tools:
