    Description

How do I configure Sage One for credit card payments?

    Resolution

To accept credit cards, Sage One must be connected to your Paya Gateway. See the steps below:

    • After logging in, select Settings
    • Then, select Online Payments
    • Enter your Merchant ID (MID) and Merchant Key (MKey) along with your default bank account and category.

What if I don't have a Paya account?

Please select "Get Started Now" on the Online Payments Page, or call 1-888-279-1440 to get in touch with a Sales Representative who can help you ensure you receive the best possible solution for your business needs.

What does a Merchant ID/Merchant Key look like?

A Merchant ID is always a 12-digit number, for example, 123456789123. A Merchant Key is always 12-characters long, alternating between capital letters and numbers, for example, A1B2C3D4E5F6.

What if I've lost or forgotten my Merchant ID/Merchant Key?

This information would have been sent to you in an email titled "New Merchant Information for [business name]", which was originally sent when your account was created. To request a new email be sent, please submit a ticket.

I used to accept credit cards through Sage Billing Boss. Can I use the same Merchant ID/Merchant Key?

Yes, absolutely! The same MID/MKEY that you used for Sage Billing Boss will work in Sage One.
