Paya ARTEMIS Integrations and Card Reader Devices
Description
ARTEMIS™ is offered through two types of integrations:
1. Desktop software integrations with PCD (Paya Connect Desktop) *
This type of integration is available today and comes with an Ingenico iPP320 card reader device supporting EMV. PCD is middleware forming the bridge between the 3rd Party software, the card reader device and Paya Gateway. The following diagram illustrates this further:
2. Cloud software integrations with PEVD (Paya Exchange Virtual Desktop) *
This type of integration will be available in July 2018. It comes with an IDTech SRED Key card reader device supporting keyed and swiped transactions. It is the ideal fit for cloud-based environments requiring PCI P2PE compliant MOTO (Mail Order/Telephone Order) transactions. Paya Exchange Virtual Desktop receives the (encrypted) card data from the card reader device and sends it to the Paya Gateway. The following diagram illustrates this further:
