    Why don't my batch deposits include American Express transactions?

    Resolution

    American Express manages their own deposits to merchants processing American Express credit cards. When reconciling your accounts, therefore, please expect your deposits from Paya to be the amount of the batch minus the amount of any American Express transactions. Some merchants may also be set up to have fees deducted from each individual batch.

    NOTE: If you are enrolled in Sage's American Express Opt Blue program, ALL deposits are handled by Sage.
