What does the Minimum Discount mean on my merchant statement?

Resolution

A monthly minimum discount fee may have been negotiated when you first signed up for your merchant account. This means that the 'Discount Due' listed in the Plan Summary section of your merchant statement must exceed the minimum discount amount. If it does not, you will be assessed the difference between the 'Discount Due' and the 'Monthly Minimum Discount' as a separate line item on that statement.
