    Tips for Paya Connect Desktop installation procedure

    Tips for how to properly install Paya Connect Desktop to Windows Environments For Sage and Greenway/Intergy methods.

    *The following steps below outline the general procedure of Application deployment and installation to Paya Connect Desktop for Sage Software on local and remote Desktop environments.

    Installing Paya Connect Desktop for Sage Software:

    Exit Paya Connect Desktop from System Tray or thru Task Manager(if app is unresponsive); Look to remove sageexchange.exe, PayaConnectDesktop.exe, & SageExchangeLegacyServer.exe.

    Go to Settings>Apps(Programs & Features), Uninstall Paya Connect Desktop and Paya Connect Desktop Application Distributer.

    As Local Admin, Go to File Explorer
    C:\Users\{$username}\App Data\Local=> remove "Sage Payment Solutions Folder"
    (*for shared servers, go to all user paths to remove Sage Payment Solutions folder)

    C:\Program Files(x86)\=>remove "Sage Payment Solutions"

    C:\Program Data=>remove "Sage Payment Solutions"
    (*restart Windows if necessary for changes to take place)

    Download the latest version of the Paya Connect Desktop Bootstrapper from https://www.sageexchange.com/install/#/sedv2x/en

    Allow Installation and App Deploy to complete, and a new PCD icon will appear in the System Tray, Press OK to the logo splash screen.

    Retry process from Sage software.



    *The following steps below outline the general procedure of Application deployment and installation to Paya Connect Desktop for Greenway/Intergy Software on local and remote Desktop environments.
     

    Installing Paya Connect Desktop for Greenway/Intergy:

    Exit Paya Connect Desktop from System Tray or thru Task Manager(if app is unresponsive); Look to remove sageexchange.exe, PayaConnectDesktop.exe, & SageExchangeLegacyServer.exe.

    Go to Settings>Apps(Programs & Features), Uninstall Paya Connect Desktop and Paya Connect Desktop Application Distributer.

    As Local Admin, Go to File Explorer
    C:\Users\{$username}\App Data\Local=> remove "Sage Payment Solutions" Folder
    (*for shared servers, go to all user paths to remove Sage Payment Solutions folder)

    C:\Program Files(x86)\=>remove "Sage Payment Solutions"

    C:\Program Data=> remove "Sage Payment Solutions"

    (restart Windows if necessary for changes to take place)

    Open Intergy to go thru steps to process
    (this will run a new installation of PCD or SageExchangeDesktop)

    Allow Installation and App Deploy to complete and new icon should appear in System Tray(may also launch as normal or with red dot to complete app deploy update to 2.0.x.xx version).

    When icon appears working in System Tray as normal again, have one of the users log on to their session to try a process again in Intergy.
