A fee applied each month after the following “excessive chargeback” threshold has been met: In any three (3) consecutive months, the monthly ratio of Chargebacks (less Chargeback Reversals) to gross Charges (less Credits) at an establishment exceeds one (1) percent.  This is for merchants that process American Express through the Opt Blue platform.

$25.00 per Chargeback (less Chargeback Reversals) over the 1 percent ratio.
